Q - How do I join?
A - Click on register and follow the instructions.
             
           

           

Q - Why will I benefit  from joining?
A - We will assist you in  writing a profile. You will be on a nationwide database. You will be able to see how many people have looked at your profile, with an activity report. A wide range of people will have access to your profile; directors/writers/producers/agents  etc. You can update your information. There will be up to date information on  auditions, performances, venues, directors, producers and agents. We will show  revues of plays and performances both by professionals and also the general public. You will have information on training, schools and workshops etc.
             
           

           

Q - How much is the  registration fee?
A - £5-£10 per year  (depending on level of membership).
             
           

           

Q - Who will see my profile?
A - Anyone viewing the site will have a limited amount of access to your profile. Members will have a full profile, but abridged contact details.
             
           

           

Q - How will someone contact me?
A - Via our site, as a security measure. You are then at liberty to contact them as necessary.
             
           

           

Q - Can I contact  Directors, producers, agents etc?
A - Yes you can, via our  site as a security measure. They will be sent your message and then have the choice to contact you or not.
             
           

           

Q - Are messages  monitored?
A - Yes and if required we  will forward details to the appropriate authorities if someone is thought to be misusing the site.

Q - Will I know when to renew my membership?
A - Yes, we will contact you 1 month before your renewable date.
             
           

           

Q - Will I get to be  famous?
A - We cannot answer that  one, but maybe, being on our website will give you a greater chance.
             
           

           

Q - Do you guarantee I will  be given the opportunity of fame?
A - No, but it is  possible.
             
           

           

Q - Will I be wasting my  time and money?
A - We do not think so; after all if you do not buy a lottery ticket you can't win the lottery!

A - Yes, lots just look on our site.
             
           

           

Q - Will I be made aware  of auditions?
A - You will need to keep  your eye on new and up-coming auditions.
             
           

           

Q - Can my chosen venue  keep in touch by e-mail newsletter?
A - Yes if you are a registered member of a theatre/venue.
             
           

           

Q - What happens if I find  out I am not getting value for money?
A - a) Look at your profile to  make sure it is filled in correctly.
      b) Increase your mileage in your distance  parameters.
      c) Widen your acceptances.

      d) Make sure you have an up to date image.
          
         

           

Q - Can I have a refund if  I am not happy with the service?
A - We offer a low cost one off payment and there is no refund.
             
           

           

Q - How can I put a revue  of a recent performance I have seen on the website?
A - Go to the home page and click on revue and follow instructions.
             
           

           

Q - How can I be sure that  my details do not fall into the wrong hands?
A - The site is secure; only members can access your information and you can only be contacted through  our site via the messaging system. Should you have a problem with a member, contact us and we  will inform the relevant authorities.
             
           

           

Q - Can I put video clips on my profile?
A - Yes via a link to U-Tube or other similar  provider.
             
           

           

Q - Are there any hidden costs?
A - There are no hidden costs; you pay £5, £7.50  or £10 per year, depending on the level of membership you require.
             
           

                                                                                   

Q - What course of action can I take if the information is incorrect?
A - Information regarding performances is provided by the venue themselves. Should there be any other  problems then your rights as a consumer are protected. (Please see t & c)
             
           

           

Q - Is there any age restriction in joining the site?
A - There are no age limits for joining, but a parent/carer must fill out the application and make the payment, if you are under 18.
             
           

           

Q - How do I prove my age?
A - We are assuming you are telling the truth, if you are over 18. Under 18s will need to have parent/carers acting on their behalf for payment.
             
           

           

Q - Do you think I am a  suitable candidate?
A - Anyone is suitable to register on our site if they have an interest in the performing arts.
             
           

           

Q - Do you have to be talented to be on your website?
A - We believe everybody has a hidden talent.
             
           

           

Q - Has anybody been made famous by your site?
A - Not yet - you might be the first!
             
           

           

Q - Do you get many agents  on your site?
A - Yes we do, we work with the agents to enhance the service they provide.
             
           

           

Q - What advice would you give me to make a break into performance arts?
A - a) There is no better place than starting here.
      b) At first you must try, then try and  try again.
      c) If you throw enough at the wall some  of it must stick!

Q - What if the area I am  living in is not covered by the site?
A - There may not be coverage  of performance arts within your immediate vicinity, but a venue or theatre will  be covered within a few miles from you.
             
           

           

Q - Can I join even though  I am a professional performer?
A - Yes, we are sure that  you will find the site of benefit to you and enhance your enjoyment of your  chosen profession.
             
           

           

Q - What is the most  important thing in becoming an actor/performer?
A - We believe the most  important things are self belief, a willingness to learn and an open mind.

 

 

Q - What should I do if I want to remove myself from the site?
